Sky Sports confirmed Graeme Souness is leaving the company, after 15 years as a pundit with the company, following Liverpool's win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Liverpool star Souness, has certainly been a controversial character over the years, mainly due to his old school opinions of the sport.
On Sunday, having once again shared some of those views, following the exciting Premier League game between Liverpool and Spurs, Sky announced he was leaving.

The Scotsman had just been discussing what comes next for Spurs, after they'd somehow managed to concede three goals in the opening 15 minutes, again, before completing a comeback, only to still lose.
In the aftermath, the 69-year-old had claimed that Premier League teams 'loved' a foreign manager and suggested Spurs should go for a British manager, but had no actual suggestions.
Speaking about his time as a pundit on Sky, an emotional Souness said, "I was given an opportunity to do this and it was magnificent.

"It has just been the most fantastic time for me.
"I love football, l care about football and l worry about it going forward, but in Sky's hands it is in good hands, it is in safe hands."
Sky Sports director of football Gary Hughes said: "We will miss Graeme's no-nonsense approach in the studio - matched only by his playing style.
"The insight and winning mentality he brought to our viewers as a result of his years' of experience as both a player and a manager has been invaluable to our coverage. We wish him all the best for the future."

For someone who was stepping away from the job, he had shown no signs of mellowing during his final shift, going in two footed on Harry Kane, in typical fashion for both his playing and punditry career.

The news comes just a day after Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling had confirmed that he would retire at the end of the season.
Stelling had initially meant to step down a year ago, but decided to do one final season in the hot seat before standing down, Souness though has had his final stint already.
