Bayern Munich lose 3-2 against Bochum, it's their third defeat in a row

Bayern Munich are now eight points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the league.

Bayern Munich have lost their THIRD game in a row following a crushing 3-2 defeat against Bochum.

Pressure is mounting on Thomas Tuchel as he has led his side to three defeats in a row across all competitions.

Their latest setback came on Sunday as Bayern suffered a bruising defeat at Bochum.

The visitors opened the scoring through Jamal Musiala, but they were unable to hold onto their lead.

The hosts levelled proceedings as Takuma Asano cancelled out Musiala's goal.

Just before the break, Keven Schlotterbeck made it 2-1 to Bochum.

As Bayern tried to mount a comeback, Dayot Upamecano was shown a red card seven minutes from time - his second red card in as many games following his dismissal against Lazio in the Champions League.

Kevin Stoger added a third as he converted a penalty in the 85th minute. Harry Kane pulled one back late on.

Bayern are now a whopping eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who continued their remarkable league campaign with a 2-1 victory over Heidenheim on Saturday.

There are just 12 league games left of the season as Xabi Alonso looks set to end Bayern's Bundesliga dominance.

It's now back-to-back-to-back defeats for the defending German champions, having lost to Leverkusen, Lazio in midweek and, of course, Bochum.

Tuchel's team will look to return to winning ways next Saturday when they host RB Leipzig.
