Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has reacted to an incident involving Fulham's Carlos Vinicius by claiming the 'punch' would not even be allowed in the UFC.
In the 57th minute of Monday's Premier League clash at Craven Cottage, Vinicius avoided punishment after clearly making contact with Silva's head.
The conversation around VAR only intensified following the incident, with many people having their say on how the Fulham forward managed to get away with it.

British actor and comedian Omid Djalili was to quick to react, saying: "VAR check for common assault on Thiago Silva you could get arrested for on a Friday night in UK town centres. Check complete. Nothing given."
And after the full-time whistle, Silva, who was clutching his head following the clash, reacted on social media.
“This is not even allowed in the UFC," he wrote via his Instagram account. "But it's cool.”
It has been a controversial week for VAR, to say the least.

At the weekend, Liverpool released a statement after PGMOL – the body responsible for referees in the Premier League – admitted Luis Diaz's goal against Spurs was incorrectly disallowed for offside.
PGMOL acknowledged making a "significant" human error, adding: "This was a clear and obvious factual error and should have resulted in the goal being awarded through VAR intervention."
As you can imagine, plenty of fans had their say on the incident involving Thiago Silva and Carlos Vinicius.
One fan said: "This little push Carlos Vinícius gave Thiago Silva p*ssed me off as well. Such a clear red before when his arm whacked him in the neck/head, the intent was so obvious."
A second wrote: "Vinicius did a karate chop on Silva and he didn’t even get a yellow," while a third commented: "For me it's not even VAR, any competent official would need no assistance in noticing Vinicius' arm swing towards Silvas head."

A fourth added: "How did they not give him a straight red?"
Chelsea went on to secure their second win of the Premier League campaign on Monday thanks to goals from Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja, while Fulham remain in 13th following defeat.
