Gary Neville shuts down Arsenal fan for calling Man United legend the 'worst full-back in Premier League history'

Gary Neville responded to an Arsenal fan during their match against Crystal Palace.

Gary Neville hilariously shut down an Arsenal fan after the social media user claimed the Manchester United legend is the 'worst full-back in Premier League history'.

Neville watched on as Arsenal returned to winning ways following their comfortable 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Saturday.

Gabriel opened the scoring in the 11th minute, with the Gunners doubling their lead through a Dean Henderson own-goal.

Leandro Trossard added a third in the second-half while Gabriel Martinelli bagged a late brace as Arsenal secured the three league points to move level on points (43) with Manchester City and Aston Villa, occupying third place.

During the fixture, Neville was active on X as he went back-and-forth with a bunch of Arsenal fans.

The former Man United captain seemed to rattle the Arsenal fanbase over his post about their opening goal, prompting a supporter to slam him online.

The X user called Neville the 'worst full-back in Premier League history' and claimed he'd take Ben White over him, tweeting: "You were the worst full back in PL history I’m taking Ben White over you."

To which the eight-time Premier League winner replied: "Agree mate."

Neville has eight Premier League winners' medals to his name having enjoyed a stellar career at Old Trafford.

White, granted he's still 26, has yet to win the Premier League in his career. He played every league game last season and has made 20 league appearances this campaign.
