Two Manchester United players have been branded as ‘a danger to their own team’ during their defeat against Manchester City.
On Sunday, City had to dig deep to come from behind to beat United to keep pace with Premier League leaders Liverpool.
The crowd inside the Etihad Stadium was stunned after Marcus Rashford smashed United into the lead after just eight minutes.

However, Erik ten Hag’s men failed to build on their lead and were eventually overhauled by City.
A brace from Phil Foden plus an Erling Haaland goal sealed a 3-1 victory.
During the match, two of United’s substitutes were criticised by Manchester Evening News Chief Manchester United writer Samuel Luckhurst, who wrote on social media: “Antony and (Sofyan) Amrabat have been a danger to their own team since they came on and have been most of the season.”

Brazilian winger Antony came on for Rashford in the 75th minute but failed to make a positive impact.
Meanwhile, midfielder Sofyan Amrabat was brought on for Kobbie Mainoo with eight minutes remaining.
Amrabat was at fault for City’s third goal after he was robbed of possession by Rodri, who then played in Haaland to score.
On the back of the defeat, United find themselves sixth in the Premier League table, 11 points off fourth-placed Aston Villa.
Speaking after the match, Ten Hag believes United can still secure a place in next season’s Champions League.

He said: “It can be a quick turnaround. We go to another final (against Everton next Saturday) and try to get closer. We have to go for it. We have to win our games.
“Fifth position can also be a position for Champions League so we have to fight for it. This year on we are really progressing and you have to get some points back. Everyone can beat everyone.”
