Kylian Mbappe has agreed to give up incredible sum of money if he leaves PSG on free transfer

Mbappe's contract expires at the end of this season.

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly agreed to give up a huge amount of money if he decides to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old recently revealed that he would not renew his contract with PSG which expires at the end of this season.

Mbappe, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for what feels like an eternity, is currently free to sign a pre-contract with any European club.

He was asked about his contract situation following PSG's 2-0 win over Toulouse in the French Super Cup on Wednesday evening.

"I’m very, very, very motivated for this year. It’s very important," Mbappe said.

"As I said, we’ve got titles to go after and we’ve already won one, so that’s already done. After that, no, I haven’t made up my mind yet.

"But in any case, with the agreement I made with the chairman this summer, it doesn’t matter what I decide.

"We managed to protect all parties and preserve the club’s serenity for the challenges ahead, which remains the most important thing. So we’ll say it’s secondary."

Per Ben Jacobs, Mbappe has agreed to forgo up to 80 million if he decides to leave the Parc des Princes on a free.

The France captain has already waived a percentage of his loyalty bonus. He will be entitled to the entire sum if he decides to stay at PSG.

Premier League clubs are able to negotiate with Mbappe if they'd like to, with with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City recently linked.

Liverpool are said to be 'the most credible and dangerous candidate' to sign Mbappe according to French outlet Le Parisien.

It's likely any attempt to sign Mbappe would be countered by Spanish giants Real.

They're currently without a senior centre forward in their squad on a permanent basis following Karim Benzema's departure for Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ittihad.

Joselu arrived on loan from Espanyol in the transfer window but most of their goalscoring output comes from Jude Bellingham, who has 17 to his name this term.
