Rapper and TV personality Big Narstie has admitted that he recently confused Emma Raducanu with former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu during Sports Direct's Christmas advertisement shoot.
The ad featured a number of celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment, including Jack Grealish, Declan Rice, Conor Benn and the aforementioned Raducanu.
However, when Big Narstie arrived at the shoot, he misheard the name of the tennis star, who stormed to the women's U.S Open title back in September - at the age of just 18.

Born in Canada to Chinese and Romanian parents, Raducanu now plays under British citizenship, having lived in the UK since she was two.
Her victory at Flushing Meadows earlier this year made Raducanu one of the country's most popular athletes - but that didn't stop Big Narstie from making an embarrassing faux pas.
"They said, 'Yeah you're gonna be with Kanu' so I'm like, "This is gonna be lit!'" he said on Channel 4's The Big Narstie Show (via The Sun).

"I'm in this ting now and I was like, 'Where's Kanu?' And you know it was a girl."
"Do you know how mad I was bruv? It was this girl, she's a big superstar tennis player."According to the entertainer, it was an innocent enough mistake, as all he claims to have heard was the last part of her name before being introduced.

"I didn't hear the Emma Radu part, all I heard was Kanu," He added.
A gold medallist with Nigeria at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Kanu spent 14 seasons in England with Arsenal, West Bromwich and Portsmouth winning two Premier League titles and three FA Cups.
Now a Unicef goodwill ambassador, the Nigerian also won the Champions League with Ajax in 1995, as well as the UEFA Cup with Inter Milan.
