After being linked with a move to Old Trafford, United fans scrolled through James' Twitter account and one supporter discovered a pro-Liverpool post.

"Salah is some player," James wrote accompanied with a fire emoji in April 2018 after the Egyptian's stunning performance against AS Roma in the Champions League.

Twitter user @UtdChe quote-Tweeted James' post about Salah and wrote: "You better delete this if you join bro."
