A clip of Timo Werner taking part in a shooting drill ahead of the Champions League final has gone viral - but not for a good reason.

Werner could feature up top in Thomas Tuchel's line-up against Manchester City in the Champions League final.

But Chelsea fans will be hoping he doesn't recreate his form in training with a damning video doing the rounds on Twitter.

The German forward, who has only scored 12 goals this term, has been ruthlessly trolled by rival fans for his effort in training.

The video shows the 25-year-old blasting high and wide in training.

Fans online pulled no punches as they mocked Werner's shooting.

One tweeted: "If that's a sneak peak of what's to come, Chelsea is f**ked."

A second wrote: "Row G is a personal best for him tbf."

A third added: "That ball flew like Jabulani in the Highveld in 2010."

A fourth commented: "How does anybody take this guy serious??"

Werner started Chelsea's last game against Aston Villa in the Premier League, but he failed to get on the score-sheet.

To his credit, though - he has bagged four goals in 11 games in Chelsea's European campaign this season.

Former Blues hero Oscar is hoping Werner pops up with the winning goal.

He told Goal: "It's that kind of game decided by small details. I'll be cheering for Chelsea, sure, so I'll go for 1-0... with a lot of suffering.

"I would like to see Werner score the goal [that wins the game] because he has been criticised but he knows how to play, he does the right things and he's played very well.

"Unfortunately, sometimes the ball is not going in, but he plays really well and I want him to score the [decisive] goal [in the final]."
