Rangers Fan Sets Up Tinder Profile In Bid To Get Room In Seville For Europa League Final

Rangers Fan Sets Up Tinder Profile In Bid To Get Room In Seville For Europa League Final

A Rangers fan has gone viral for using Tinder to try and get somewhere to crash for the Europa League final.

A Rangers fan has become a viral sensation after turning to Tinder in a bid to secure a room for the Europa League final.

13 years after making the UEFA Cup final against Zenit in Manchester, the Gers have reached the showpiece in Sevilla, where they will take on Eintracht Frankfurt.

Rangers have received around 9500 tickets but you just know that their rabid will take over the whole city and turn out in their thousands.

But with crazy demand for hotels and ridiculously extortionate prices to go along with it, one supporter has got a little creative in his attempt to secure a place to crash.

23-year-old Connor has gone on dating app Tinder and attached a picture of him in his Rangers shirt, holding a handwritten message in Spanish.

Translated, the message reads: "Hello Madam, my name is Connor and I’m a Rangers fan in Seville for the final.

"I’m desperately searching for a place to stay

"I am desperately looking for a place to stay. Hotels cost more than 600 euros so if you have a free bed or a sofa I can sleep on, it would be a big help.

"I’d be prepared to pay for this service. Thank you. Come on Rangers!"

The profile has been shared online, with the caption "tinder >>> airbnb", and racked up 35,000 likes on Twitter.

Connor has been showed a lot of love on the app but let's hope he experiences the same on Tinder in the form of likes and matches.
