Donny van de Beek is set to be handed a way out of Manchester United, after a tough debut season with the club, as new Roma boss Jose Mourinho eyes a move for he midfielder.
Van de Beek's transfer from Ajax last summer was met with a lot of excitement from United fans, following the collapse of his move to Real Madrid.

However things have not gone according to plan for the Dutchman in his first season in the Premier League and has started just two league games in the league so far.
That has led to mocking in some quarters and frustration from others, who believe the 24-year-old should be playing more often.
With more starts not looking likely anytime soon, Mourinho, who was announced as taking over at Roma earlier this week, is keen to bring Van de Beek to Italy.
According to Calciomercato, the former United boss wants to return to his old club in order to bolster his options in the Italian capital, when he takes over for next season.
Despite Van de Beek's lack of game time, or form for much of the season, signing the former Ajax man might not be that easy for Mourinho.

According to the Sun, United have no interest in selling their midfielder, despite the continued excellent form of both Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.
Solskjaer apparently still has 'big plans' for the player and held talks with him recently to tell him he would get his chance at Old Trafford.
Another report has recently claimed that the Premier League club were consider using their midfielder as a makeweight in a potential deal for Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo.
Van de Beek's potential future teammates did get a close up look at him earlier this week, as he started in the two side's Europa League semi-final second leg.
It's not the only player at a former club that the former Tottenham Hotspur manager has already been linked with, since the news broke he would take over from Paulo Fonseca.

Mourinho has also been reportedly eyes a return to north London to bring both Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to the Stadio Olimpico.
