Manchester United could be planning a £130 million double swoop for James Maddison and Ben Chilwell as they look to sort their problems.
In the summer United paid the Foxes £80 million for Harry Maguire to fix their broken defence but with the attack now suffering and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side struggling they need more reinforcements.
According to the Sun, the 13 times Premier League champions are eyeing both Maddison and Chilwell in a £130 million move, with the club ready to spend big in January.
In the summer Solskjaer brought in Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James, along with Maguire, but with Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku all having left since January there's a lack of options and quality further up the pitch.
Maddison has become one of the Premier League's biggest attacking talents and the 22-year-olds form has led to England call ups, though he is yet to make his senior debut.
Chilwell might be less of a priority but Luke Shaw still hasn't lived up to the £30 million the Old Trafford club spent on him in 2014 and is still dogged by injuries.
Whether Leicester would let two of their most talented players leave at the same time remains to be seen, which United accept could be a stumbling block, with a source telling the newspaper, "We have already compiled a scouting report of both of them. We have been watching them for a few years now.
"They fit all the right requirements and criteria in terms of quality and keeping an English core which is important.
"Ole likes them but it would be difficult to get them both at the same time. We will have to wait and see what happens."
Only Liverpool, Leicester and Sheffield United have conceded less than Solskjaer's side in their eight league games this season but only six sides have scored less than them.
Marcus Rashford has had to lead the line for much of the season so far, with Anthony Martial out injured, and the England international has been short of form.
The only other striker available is 17-year-old Mason Greenwood and the options in midfield haven't been much better, again with Paul Pogba being injured.
