What Dana White said to Conor McGregor during legendary first meeting at UFC Sweden

Dana White and Conor McGregor had their first meeting at UFC Sweden.

Dana White and Conor McGregor shared a legendary interaction in their first ever meeting at UFC Sweden back in 2013.

McGregor joined the UFC in 2013 after becoming a two-weight champion in Cage Warriors and made his debut at UFC on Fuel TV: Mousasi vs. Latifi.

And he made a huge impression inside the famed Octagon, spectacularly stopping Marcus Brimage in just 67 seconds.

He won the 'Knockout of the Night' award for his devastating performance, bagging a cool $50,000.

After the fight, McGregor paid White a visit in what was their first face-to-face meeting. Check it out below:

They shared a warm brace as the 54-year-old welcomed him to the promotion before praising his showing against Brimage.

"Welcome to the UFC," said White. "So, there's been a lot of hype... I guess the hype is real."

White and McGregor spoke about the fight as the UFC boss mapped out his next two fights, plotting a return in Boston, Massachusetts, before headlining a card in Dublin, Ireland, which came to fruition.

McGregor made a swift return to action as he beat Max Holloway in Boston before being matched up against Diego Brandao in the main-event of UFC's Dublin card.

He stopped the Brazilian in the first round, earning yet another post-fight bonus.

From there, McGregor mania kicked into overdrive as he beat Dustin Poirier then Denis Siver before earning a shot at UFC gold.

He stopped Chad Mendes to claim the interim UFC featherweight title and unified the 145lbs division with a brutal 13-second victory over Jose Aldo.

McGregor continued to enhance his reputation with his epic two-fight series with Nate Diaz. He exacted revenge in their rematch after suffering a shock submission loss in their first clash.

At UFC 205, he made history by becoming the first UFC fighter to hold two UFC championships in two weight classes simultaneously.
