Who ever said loyalty in sport is dead?
Mitchell Moses is set to remain with the Parramatta Eels after knocking back a $1million deal from the Brisbane Broncos.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the Broncos snubbing indicates that Moses looks likely to re-sign with the Eels on a contract worth a whopping $900,000-a-season.

It's understood the Eels are angling for a three-year deal but star halfback is adamant on securing a four-year one.
It's a huge kick in the teeth for the struggling Broncos, who are in desperate need of reinforcements following the mass exodus from Red Hill.
Countless stars have recently departed the Queensland club and this recent rejection from Moses (and for less money too) shows exactly how the team is viewed by the players themselves.

On the other hand, it shows just how much Moses loves it in Parramatta and he clearly believes the team stands in good stead to win a Premiership down the line.
And one man who has been singing Moses' praises is rugby league great Wally Lewis.
"Mitchell Moses (is) probably a bloke that's surprised me a little bit," the Immortal told Nine's Wide World of Sports.

"He has gone on to some wonderful performances and I think that probably his age as well, he's got a few more years left in him. I just believe that the way that he's been playing his footy recently has been so admirable, it's impressed everybody.
"Whether you hate Parramatta, you still get on there and look at some of his performances and get severely impressed. He's done a great job."
The Eels are currently third on the NRL ladder, just two points behind leaders Penrith.

But with a big win over the Bulldogs on Saturday, and an upset results in the game between the Sea Eagles and Panthers, those positions at the NRL's summit could soon change.
