Adama Traore Didn't Mess Around When Performing Skill Challenge During Barcelona Presentation, It's Gone Viral

Adama Traore Didn't Mess Around When Performing Skill Challenge During Barcelona Presentation, It's Gone Viral

Take note, Ousmane Dembele.

If Adama Traore's performance in the famous presentation skill challenge is anything to go by, then Barcelona fans should be excited. Very excited.

The 26-year-old winger, who reportedly took a significant pay cut to join his former club on loan until the end of the season, was presented to the media on Wednesday following his transfer deadline day move from Wolves.

Traore, who could join the Catalan giants for £25 million if the club decide to trigger the 'option to buy' clause, clearly wanted to make a great first impression as fans watched on. Check this out.

We've seen the good and the bad during these skill challenges down the years but Traore gave a performance Ronaldinho would have been proud of - the complete opposite to Ousmane Dembele's efforts when he joined Barca.

Back in 2017, after joining from Borussia Dortmund for a reported £97 million plus a potential £38 million in add-ons, Dembele struggled to even perform one skill move never mind a few on the bounce.

Remember this?

Dembele isn't the only player to crumble as the cameras click away. Martin Braithwaite, Sergino Dest and several Real Madrid players, including Marco Asensio, have been left red faced after attempting the famous skill challenge.

Away from the media presentations and Barcelona president Joan Laporta is delighted with the signing of Traore, who was heavily linked with a move to Spurs in the January window.

“We’ve an option to buy clause included into Adama Traore deal with Wolves and our plan is to trigger that clause," Laporta said.

"It’s on him - he made a great effort [on salary] to play here at Barça.”

The Spain international is also thrilled to be back. “I’m very happy to be back at Barça, where I grew up. This is a special moment for me," he told BarçaTV+.

“I had a conversation with Xavi, I know what he wants from me," he added. "I talked to him before signing. I’ll give my 100%."
