The heat is on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - and the top 10 potential men to replace him at Manchester United have been revealed.

The Red Devils have endured a torrid start to the new season, taking just seven points from as many games to sit in 15th place in the Premier League table. They have also gone six games without a win at Old Trafford.

United were beaten 1-0 at home to Arsenal in Solskjaer's 100th game in charge on Sunday, leading to criticism from several of the Norwegian's former Old Trafford teammates, including Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes.

"He's rotating from game to game to try and keep everyone happy but he's going to end up losing himself if he's not careful," said Neville.

United's next two fixtures could well decide Solskjaer's fate. United travel to Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League on Wednesday before the tricky prospect of a trip to high-flying Everton at the weekend.

If he does get the chop, a host of top names will be in the running and now SkyBet has listed the most fancied.

Another ex-Liverpool man to be linked. Doing a fine job with Leicester.

4. Laurent Blanc - 14/1

Has the pedigree having managed France and Paris Saint-Germain, but has been out of work since 2016.

The Austrian has done a brilliant job at Southampton and is another to have impressed at RB Leipzig.

2. Massimiliano Allegri - 6/1
