Mike Tyson has revealed the reason why he doesn't go to the Super Bowl following last night's extravaganza.

Kansas City Chiefs beat San Francisco 25-22 in overtime to win the Vince Lombardi trophy, leaving fans fuming over the 'rigged' contest.

Quarter-back Patrick Mahomes, who threw the game-winning touchdown, starred as his side defended their Super Bowl crown, winning their third NFL title in five years.

Celebrities flocked to the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, to watch the Chiefs beat the 49ers.

Taylor Swift, who is going out with Travis Kelce, watched the match alongside Ice Spice and Blake Lively, who was trolled by husband Ryan Reynolds.

Jay-Z, Beyonce, Paul Rudd and Shaquille O'Neal were also in attendance.

You might think celebrities like Tyson would be soaking in the atmosphere of a Super Bowl event, too.

But the boxing legend revealed he doesn't attend the Super Bowl.

The former world heavyweight champion discussed why he doesn't go the Super Bowl during an episode of his podcast with Michael Jackson's son Prince, who spoke about his late father's half-time show in 1993.

"I don’t go to no Super Bowl," said Tyson, before revealing he had been to one Super Bowl event.

The 57-year-old then revealed that the only invitation he received was from New England Patriots owner Bon Kraft.

"Patriots all the way," he added.

The Patriots didn't make this year's Super Bowl but have won the prize an impressive six times - with NFL icon Tom Brady inspiring them to six Super Bowl triumphs during his time at the team.

Tyson not being in the front row for the Super Bowl has surprised sports fans. Though he's not snubbing the show, just never felt compelled to go.

Usher performed this year's Super Bowl half-time show, with the likes of Rihanna, The Weeknd and Shakira/Jennifer Lopez previously doing the illustrious gig.

Tyson could be at Super Bowl 59 - which is set to take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana - if he gets an invite.
